The Dayton Intellectual Property Law Association (DIPLA) was founded in 1922 as the Dayton Patent Law Association.

DIPLA’s focus on patents was certainly understandable because during that time the Dayton area produced more patents per capita than any other location in the worlds.

Since then, DIPLA has expanded itsfocus and membership to include practitioners in patent, trademark, copyright, and other areas of intellectual property law.

Whether you are interested in obtaining CLE credit, learning more about interesting issues in the IP field, or just breaking bread with friends and fellow IP practitioners, we welcome you to join DIPLA and become more involved in our monthly meetings and other events.

Look forward to seeing you  at our next meeting.
